Three more days till the end of this month! HAAAH! I can’t wait for October - a fresh start. This month had been so stressful indeed, physically and in the workplace.
I think I have been sick almost 50% of this month. Flu, relapse (from flu), UTI, allergy from taking antibiotics for UTI, severe back pains coupled with chill, dry cough and colds – name it! I had it. Because of these illnesses, I have missed important events that had transpired this month.
1. The birthday dinner treat of my friend Grace (which was rescheduled twice because of me not being available the first time…and ending up not going in the end as well) where she formally announced her long-awaited engagement! My other friends who were there told me the rock was HUGE! :D
2. Three separate kiddie (birthday) parties of my colllege friend’s first-borns (now they might not go to mine in the future as well).
3. My favorite cousin’s birthday celebration.
The only good things I got from all these unfortunate events are first, I finally got to use my Health Card (an office benefit uncommonly availed of) and of course, the tender loving care of my better half. I did not even shed a pound for crying out loud!
At the workplace, I have only one (powerful) word to encapsulate all my office woes. SOX.
