Mothers know best indeed! Guess what, IT’S A BOY!!!
We finally confirmed our baby’s gender this morning when I had my third trimester ultrasound. We are definitely having a baby boy as our first-born! So we can now officially call him EVAN SEBASTIAN. Weeeee!!!
I was supposed to have a 3D/4D Ultrasound earlier but Evan was still in his usual breech position, and was hiding his face from the “camera” (facing backwards or nakadapa!). Hehehe! Nahihiya pa ata sya magpakita kina mommy and daddy. The doctor/sonographer told us that it was not a good position yet for her to perform the 3D/4D Ultrasound. We were so excited pa naman to finally see our baby's face in close up! Sayang! :(
So we just had to do the normal Trans-abdominal Ultrasound to check for his vitals and his gender. He was so malikot during the whole procedure, turning from one side to the other! Good thing the doctor was able to view his genitals at once when we started because for the rest of the process, he hid it from our view already! Hahaha! I think he doesn’t want his thingy to be exposed long enough for everyone in the room to see (he even warned me later not to post the printout in my blog! Hehe!).
We were able to see the current position of his feet and hands as well and actually witness how he moves them (now I know what is kicking me where!). Thankfully, everything is ok and healthy with my playful son! :D
We will try to do the 3D/4D again after two weeks. I just need to have a serious talk with Evan first to change his current fetal position and convince him not to shy away from the “camera” next time.
