Adieu to you November.
My last month of sweet freedom from corporate drudgery.
No more weekday pleasures like waking up past ten in the morning, all-day playtime with my adorable son and sinful dvd (and eating) marathon.
Now back to the grind.
This November, I also did send-offs to a handful of loved ones.
My office buddy Jinggay flew to the United States early this month to start working on a global project. She is now vroom-vrooming in the streets of California on her cool sports car.

My long-time friend Jen left for Australia two weeks ago to marry the man who proposed to her in a yacht cruise with the Sydney Opera house in the background. And I used to think she is destined to find real happiness in solitude.
My sister-in-law Chrystal left for Canada to seek greener pastures, braving the winter and homesickness, all for the welfare of her family. My brother and nephew are sorely missing you.
Lastly, my good friend Grace joyfully said goodbye to single-blessedness and finally tied the knot this month to the love of her life. She is now busy doing inventory of all their new coffee-makers, glasses and pressure cookers.
Adieu to you November… hello my favorite month of the year - December. Time to party! :)
